Sphere Digital Recruitment Ltd are a large successful recruitment company who were referred to us by a client we were working with.

As timings worked out, we were able to relocate our initial client into their new offices on the Strand and then commence the fit out and relocation of Sphere to their new offices in Red Lion Street just off High Holborn.

The new building itself had recently undergone a fit out by the landlord, and this had included new HVAC, WCs and a metal encased floor, this provided us with a blank canvas to work with. Taking inspiration from elements of the original architecture including Crittall style perimeter windows and working closely with the client we developed a design concept to create stylish adaptable offices for 100-150 staff.

A combination of large open plan areas for team and desk working, comfortable breakout and relaxation space as well individual meeting rooms and welcoming reception provide the various working options that the client wanted.

From the outset we invited the client to create a Sphere projects team, allowing us to be able to work collaboratively with them and provide quick answers on design suggestions to help align these with their specific business requirements.

Covid-19, while causing London to shut down allowed us, albeit operating within new construction guidelines and restrictions to be able to undertake the works almost unencumbered and successfully achieve the clients relocation timetable.

In conjunction with the governments relaxing of working restrictions this will enable Sphere to relaunch the business and have a soft opening for staff to return to the new office.
