IRS was delighted to have the opportunity to work with ACS Facilities in delivering refurbishment works at West World in London, home to the top high street fashion retailer River Island.

The project was delivered by the IRS team over the summer of 2017, and was delivered on time and on budget.

ACS Facilities

ACS Facilities is a dynamic mechanical and engineering company based in South London with an integrated approach that is not typical of other M&E companies. IRS and ACS Facilities have worked together on many projects over the years.

River Island

River Island has over 60 years of fashion retailing experience and over 350 stores across the UK, Ireland and internationally, as well as six dedicated online sites operating in four currencies.

The project

We worked consecutively over 3 floors, each floor having a different design specification, ranging from the complete strip out and re-fit of a floor to adapting the existing space to suit new requirements.

We provided new meeting rooms, individual offices and larger open desking areas, as well as more relaxed break out areas. We decorated each floor, working within the specific design schemes provided by River Island.

We also upgraded the fire detection system, installed an air conditioning system and lighting, including the rather eye-catching circular light in reception, as you can see in the photo gallery.

Finally, the project also required us to upgrade the cable infrastructure, install new floor boxes to suit the new floor layouts and provide the power and data solutions needed by the modern busy office environment.
