Hellmann is a worldwide logistics company who wanted to upgrade their Coln Brook Bypass offices. This had historically been a building that received few client visitors and therefore was not deemed to have a particular high priority for capital expenditure. As a consequence, the reception, communal stairwell and main meeting room had been allowed to deteriorate over the years.

Budgets were limited, but the overriding ambition was to uplift all areas so that visitors would be hosted in a modern, light corporate environment.

Because it was an unusual shape, the reception required a bespoke desk and storage solution. The theme of the design needed to incorporate previously manufactured company signage and include company colours.

A simple white and blue melamine faced plywood offered a clean and tidy solution for the reception desk, with accompanying complementary cream leather visitors’ chairs.

We replaced the dirty blue carpet tiles with a timber finish wood vinyl plank that could be easily cleaned but still retain a warm feel to the space.

Hellmann wished to reflect the office’s closeness to London and so we added a range of striking prints of London images to add colour for visitors.
