Located in the historical St James District of the City of Westminster the client wanted to refurbish three meetings rooms, which were to be decorated and furnished in the same style.
St James Square is populated with London plane trees and so we developed a theme to draw the square into the offices, which resulted in the new furniture being constructed from lacewood veneer. A very strong pattern in the timber allowed us incorporate a similar theme into the new carpets.
The challenge was in drawing the room together with the window coverings, which was achieved with a striking drape, complemented by simple cream roller blinds.
The manufacturer was also able to construct a bespoke facing to sit around the plasma screen to match the rest of the furniture.
With such strong colours, a simple chocolate soft leather was chosen to cover the meeting room seats and complement the walnut in-lays.
