As a summary, Rajan advices that businesses:

• Make sure the business premises are secure and visit to check them every 7 to 14 days to ensure that remains the case
• Let your insurer know if company owned equipment is not away from the premise being use at your or your employees' homes
• Check with your insurer what the time limit is on your policy for leaving the office premises unoccupied and let them know what you are doing
